Context

Refyne is India’s largest Earned Wage Access platform - 150K+ registered users and $50M disbursed over its lifetime.

Growth depended on two things: converting first-time users, and opening new high-volume segments and revenue lines beyond core EWA.

My role

I owned the roadmap and OKRs across EWA, financial-wellness, and embedded-commerce lines, leading a team of 3 PMs and 2 designers.

I personally drove the onboarding redesign, the three embedded-lending products, and the gig-worker EWA launch.

Approach

Redesigned onboarding and repackaged the first-time experience to lift conversion, validated through A/B experimentation.

Launched three 0→1 products to drive embedded-lending disbursal: Money Guru, SEBI-certified Financial Literacy Sessions, and an Employer Purchase Programme.

Standardized the B2B integration playbook - HRMS partnerships and a unified SDK - to cut onboarding time and unlock enterprise logos.

Lifted first-time-transaction conversion 45%→66% (+21 pts) via onboarding redesign and repackaging.

Drove ~$600K/month in embedded-lending disbursal across three 0→1 products.

Launched India’s first EWA product for gig workers with Swiggy, Zepto, and Ekart.

Cut average B2B integration time 6→3.5 weeks; onboarded Flipkart, Sodexo, LTTS, and Cipla.

Reflection

Conversion is a packaging problem as much as a UX one - repositioning the offer moved the number as much as the flow redesign.

A standardized integration playbook turns each enterprise deal from a bespoke project into a repeatable motion.
